About Reefa

Hailing from the streets of Brownsville, New York is multi-platinum producer Sharif ‘Reefa’ Slater, a well respected music creator making a name for himself, amongst some of the most prominent rappers in the Hip-Hop industry. In just over a decade, the Brooklyn native has worked with artists like French Montana, Fabolous, Beanie Siegel (“Gutted”) feat Jay-Z, The Game (“It’s Okay - One Blood”), and grammy-award winner Alessia Cara. Most recently, Reefa produced a track on Lil Wayne’s, now 2X platinum album, ‘Carter V,’ and later joined forces with Rick Ross on two critically-lauded albums. When he’s not securing placements on T.I. 's VH1 reality show ‘T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle’ and Fox 5’s ‘Empire,’ Reefa is working on grooming a handful of skilled and versatile producers and artists under the Team Eighty Productions, alongside his partner Eugene “80” Sims.
